Bonfire Party Games privacy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This is the privacy policy for Bonfire Party Games, a mobile application published by Vellapps LLC. The privacy story is short and I'd like to keep it that way.

What the app collects

  • Nothing on a server. Bonfire is local-only — the nickname you choose, the role you're dealt, and any game state stay on your device or are broadcast only to other phones in the same room over Bluetooth and your local Wi-Fi network.
  • An anonymous device id (identifierForVendor on iOS, ANDROID_ID on Android) used by the room's host phone to recognize you across reconnects within a game. The id never leaves the local Bluetooth/Wi-Fi session.
  • Bluetooth and Local Network permissions are used solely for in-room peer-to-peer play. The app does not scan for nearby people outside an active game lobby, does not log Bluetooth or Wi-Fi data anywhere, and does not transmit any of it off your device.

Third-party services

The app does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Standard Apple and Google operating-system services apply (crash reports, OS-level telemetry) under their own privacy practices.

Children's privacy

Bonfire Party Games is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please email [email protected] and the data will be deleted promptly.

What this app does not do

  • No advertising or ad networks.
  • No selling, renting, or sharing of your data.
  • No retargeting pixels or third-party tracking SDKs beyond what is listed above.
